Risen from Flame
Reiland, one of a number of fauns raised by dragons. She is intended to become an administrator of the Coldmarrow Canyon region, the faun-occupied territories north and west of Elera-Velon. She was raised by a military family. Dedicated, loyal, and competent. Once the dragons had conquered Elera-Velon, they decided to slowly integrate the remaining faun population into their society. It would be a slow process spanning decades. The fauns would never forgive the dragons for driving them out of their ancestral home. It would be a challenge for Reiland to earn the trust of her own people – that fact is, she probably never will.
It was originally intended that Reiland be paired with Northrop as her enforcer. Faranik changed that plan when he converted Northrop for another purpose.
